I especially love your final words on this unknown (to me) diary date: their house, indeed.

I look forward to seeing a post populated with images of your 145 acres, and the dawn view from the tower in 2025, as well as the wider Nova Scotia landscape.

For your UK readers, please explain more about Timmies and P.D. Day as I'm confused, and now terrified to Google anything!

P.D. Day is Professional Development Day for teachers, so the children get a day off school.

Timmies is the nickname for Tim Horton’s. A Canadian coffee shop chain. I’m not sure what they put in it, but there are a million shops, and all with lineups.

My favourite are their Tim Bits. The donut middles.

Donut middles? Isn't that the hole?

Our P.D. Day in the UK is known as Inset Day (In Service Training Day).

I wonder if Timmies has some ingredient like in the original recipe of Coke. Jus' sayin'

I was thinking the same thing regarding the original Coke 😂

The hole has to go somewhere 🤷🏽‍♀️

This sounds corny, but they were delicious. https://youtu.be/WdPRc8u_OLY

The video made me want to be sick in my mouth at the thought of those flavour combinations.

Each to their own, I guess. :-D
